What are some of the challenges faced in the field or while teaching this subject? Another challenge is the need for more resources and funding to support research and control efforts. As for teaching, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest developments and ensure that the information is accurate and up-to-date. HOST: I can imagine. Lastly, what do you think the future holds for Zika virus detection and control strategies? GUEST: I'm optimistic about the future. With continued research and collaboration, I believe we can make significant progress in detecting and controlling the virus. I also hope to see more emphasis on prevention and community engagement, as these are key to reducing the spread of the virus.
